Recruiting Class is set but what About another Transfer?
I got a question for you Tiger Fans. A former four star running back recruit out of the 2011 class is looking for a home. His name is Darrian Miller, yes the Darrian Miller that was KU's 2nd leader rusher last year. Do you think we look at him? If he called the coaches should they listen? This kid was a beast of a running back at Blue Springs, and a year sitting out because of rules would give him time to get bigger, stronger, and faster, and give us even more depth and options at RB. Let me know what you think.

Tough to say
Just took two (potential) RB’s in this class. Murphy will be back as well as those two plus (hopefully) Josey going into 2012, plus whatever other talent that is out there.
I would say no we dont take him and no the coaches dont listen if he calls.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if he filled a need
… and I’m sure the coaches would, if nothing else, ask him to walk on (not that I would expect him to). If Mizzou was flat out desperate at RB and he came calling, you have to at least listen. I’m not naive enough to just assume that he’d be 8th string RB just because he used to be a buckle shoe bird, but I don’t recall him turning any heads at ku either.
@armyofmike
wouldn't he have to sit out an extra year because of intra-conference transfer rules?
I guess if he transferred after July 1, 2012 we could avoid that rule. But certainly it wouldn’t be worth it to us (or him) if he had to sit out 2 years before he could play.

the staff passed on him the first time
i don’t know why they would feel differently now
no thanks
