Its been inexplicable to me. They do realize that we have went into College Station TWO years in a row and beat them, right? Right?! And that we’ve consistently won more games and generally finished higher in both the b12 standings and national rankings for the past half decade, right? No??

But yeah, A&M is clearly more suited for the big leagues.

Stupid facts, always getting in the way of perceptions.

If we come out of the gates and win a couple games early that others think we don’t have a chance in, like USCe and Georgia, I bet the Big 12 teams minus Kansas are going to use it to smack talk the SEC in favor of the strength of the Big 12.

it’s just so, so stupid. a&m has been mizzou’s whipping boy the past few years and yet somehow they are so much better prepared than us. must be that clearly superior talent.

Got on late and the idea came to me, decided to post it in the morning instead of over there where no one would see it

Although I like the summer sched because it doesn’t interfere with football.

Plus we’re quicker getting to spots on the floor to draw a charge or avoid fouling.

But when he says “any units we’ve earned in the 2012 NCAA Tournament or the five previous ones, all of those will stay with the Big 12 Conference. Those won’t follow us to the SEC.” I’m not quite following because then he says "the Big 12 will continue to earn a revenue distribution based upon our performance in the NCAA Tournament four or five years after we’ve gone."

Hasn’t the money from ‘the five previous ones’ already been passed out to the conferences? And then he goes on to say the part about “four or five years after we’ve gone,” so he seems to be talking about a 9-10 year period.

Am I just reading this all completely wrong? I shouldn’t be allowed to look at numbers before noon, because it never turns out well.

But I’d prefer if you continue to use your standard “Kansas fan here” in the subject line.

How else are we to immediately know not to trust anything we read in the body of your comment?

We have soo much in common. I really like it when highly ranked teams get upset, that is by far the best part of the tourny.

so potentially we either see him as decoy in the open field, or to force the defense to play honestly near the endzone. Either way I think he doesn’t go for many yards, but gets at least 1 TD against Georgia.

…just from a “do you cover DGB with your No. 1 right away, or do you force him to make plays first?” perspective. He’ll still be mostly an unknown at that point, having only played one game (against TBD)…

maybe the pie/cake detractors are right…..

when you know they’ll take it in good hearted fun. (ie BHGP) However, RCT? It’s run by people that usually have no thought or insight other than what is popular among their masses. Even their digs are old and stale.

Not everyone other there is like that mind you, but it breeds more disdain than anger from me.
