Things that did not help in the 1st half:
missed layups early. That’s not like us.
Kimmie technical. They’re calling plenty of fouls, hate to give them one like that.
KSU shooting 20% better than they do for the season.
The 2nd two aren’t likely to repeat. Erase the missed layups problem, we’ve got every chance in this game. Win by 1, win by 30, it doesn’t matter. Just win.
is ksu hitting a lot of jumpers?
or are they getting lots of points in the paint and on putbacks? how inflated is their shooting percentage so far?

lots of midrange and close shots and putbacks
were not hitting the boards very well on the defensive end
they've hit more than their share of jumpers
including a three-pointer that was thrown off the backboard. It wasn’t a bank shot, the guy THREW it at the backboard.
But, they’ve gotten more looks down low than they should have. They’re obviously going to hit those.
Because I'm always the optomist...
Let me point out that we only trailed by 2 more than this with less than THREE minutes left against a much better team than this and won.

The play this first half
reminds me of playing against Thaebet and Aldrich. Just don’t want to go hard to the basket. Flip, Dix, Denmon all can get a basket and a foul. Need to get the big in trouble.
