We don't normally do this around here, Bill C. makes his prediction on the final score and the rest of us try to guess the trifecta rather than predict the outcome of the game. Tomorrow, however, is a special day.
Tomorrow may be the last time both Mizzou and Kansas face off. Certainly for the last time in conference, and possibly the last time ever in AFH. Until the loss Tuesday night this game certainly looked a lot more even, but now you're hard pressed to find anyone that isn't a Mizzou homer predicting anything but a Jayhawk win.
However, I'm older than many of you and seen lesser Mizzou teams knock off better Kansas teams. I was a student in the stands for the double overtime classic in 1997. I know it's unlikely, especially @AFH, but it's not a crazy idea to think Mizzou could win tomorrow. This is one of the best teams Mizzou has taken to Lawrence in quite some time. They have weaknesses and holes on the team, but amazing strengths as well.
I therefore invite you all to make your predictions. Here is mine:
73-72 Mizzou wins. Another classic game right down to the end where Mizzou holds off a furious last minute KU rally at the free throw line. Denmon and English score 40+ points together and Ratliffe doesn't quite equal TRob, but does enough.
What do you predict?
