Whatever magic exists between Mizzou and Kansas City's Sprint Center, let's hope it lasts another two games. Missouri ran its record to 3-0 at the Sprint Center in 2011-12 with a third blowout of a major conference team, bolting to a 47-18 lead in the first half and coasting to an 88-70 win over Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals of the 2012 Big 12 Tournament. Kim English scored 27 points (mostly in the first half), Marcus Denmon scored 24 (mostly in the second), Phil Pressey tied a personal best with 12 assists, and Andrew Jones even tossed in a pair of free throws. As they did at Mizzou Arena, Oklahoma State clawed away at the lead, but the Tigers were never seriously tested. They move on to play the winner of tonight's Iowa State-Texas game tomorrow evening (for which you can consider this the live thread).
