Trent Hosick, Nick Ramirez commit to Missouri
Gary Pinkel and company landed two prospects on Saturday, receiving pledges from Kansas City (MO) Staley dual-threat quarterback Trent Hosick and Lee's Summit (MO) linebacker Nick Ramirez. Of the two, Ramirez is considered the better prospect and is an impressive striker who moves extremely well at his linebacker position with the ability to play inside and outside in high school. He's projected as an inside guy in college, but he should have the range to stay on the field in the nickel (if Missouri ever needs it in the SEC). Hosick, on the other hand, isn't quite the prototype at just a hair over 6-0 in his bare feet, but he's a winner (he hasn't lost as a starter since 5th grade) and has the type of athleticism that will play well in the Missouri spread. Nice additions, both. The Tigers now have eight commitments in the 2013, all from in-state prospects.
