As we await potential news re: the arrival of a second Baby Beef, and as we gear up for a lovely Saturday morning of yardwork at Casa Bill C., let's start the Saturday live thread early!

Today's talking points...

1. Mizzou Softball took Game One from Oregon, 5-4. A 4-3 deficit in the sixth inning turned into a 5-4 win when Kayla Kingsley doubled home Nicole Hudson and Lindsey Muller. Chelsea Thomas was far from amazing (7.0 innings, seven hits, five walks, six K's) but was good enough. Three extra-base hits for Missouri and three Oregon errors got the job done. Game Two begins at 3:00 p.m. CT, followed immediately by Game Three.

2. Mizzou Baseball fell short against Texas, 6-4, in front of 1,400 at Simmons Field. Texas went up 5-0 in the fifth, but Mizzou scraped back and got two runners on in the ninth but fell to 23-22. Game Two starts today at 1:00 p.m. CT.

3. More Turf Pictures!

4. FA Cup Final at 11:00 a.m. CT on Fox Soccer! For those interested in such a thing. (Oh, and how badass would this be?)

What else is up on what should be a lovely Saturday?
