Just like most of you I am extremely excited that we are now officially an SEC member. And I know it's a "family" thing, but is it too early to start truly hating Texas A & M? This is a new beginning and I'd like to think that most of the other schools are just as excited as we are about the move. But all I can think about is what rivalries are going to develop and who is going to take the place of that lowercase'd institution (if that's even possible). I don't want to sound like a hate-monger, but man I really want to dislike one of these teams. I want that game your players circle on their calendars. The game where records don't mean a thing.
I think it should be A & M.
Everything about them rubs me the wrong way, especially the perceived notion that one 10 win season and a mega-hyped preseason followup puts them in the upper echelon of college football. Not to mention the fact that we blew them away on their own field that year, and we beat them again last year in a game we weren't expected to win.
If it's too early for that kind of intensity, just let me know and I'll simmer down now. But seriously guys. Seriously. I really don't ever want to lose to them. Ever.
