Mizzou basketball's assistant coach heading to Auburn

2

"Missouri basketball assistant coach Ryan Miller is leaving Columbia barely two months after joining Frank Haith’s staff and will be named the associate head coach at Auburn. The move is a promotion for Miller and is expected to bring a significant pay increase. It also will reunite him with Auburn head Coach Tony Barbee. The two worked together on John Calipari’s staff at Memphis, where Barbee was an assistant coach and Miller was video coordinator. CBSSports.com reported that Calipari pushed hard for Miller to join Barbee." I get that it's a promotion, and reportedly he'll be making triple what Mizzou was going to pay, and it's hard to get worked up over a guy that had only been here for two months...but still, he was here for two months. You'd think a recent hire would be a bit more grateful for the opportunity. Considering the timing, it really shortens Haith's recruiting resources as well. Also...raise your hand if you like Calipari just a little less than before this.
