Mizzou Links, 7-9-12

It's been almost a week since I had a full-fledged monster links post, and ... it's a monster.

Mizzou Football Links

For a while, I've been compiling a playlist of the full college football games I have found on YouTube ... it's growing and growing (let me know if you know of any good accounts for such a thing), but I haven't had time to really dive in. I did, however, take the time to cue up Mizzou-Oklahoma 2002, which can be found in its entirety below. That 2002 team was all sorts of scrappy (and limited), and though that fake field goal still annoys the hell out of me, this is worth a watch (and a read of the Blatant Homerism link below). This was the ultimate "Oh my god, this team could become something" loss.

(Meanwhile, I ran a Getty Images search for "Missouri Oklahoma 2002," not realizing I would about to be subjecting myself to pages of 2002 Elite Eight pictures and no football pictures whatsoever. Not fun. So you got Alex Oriakhi instead.)
