RANKINGS S&P+ (Mizzou: 38th) Offensive S&P+ (Mizzou: 43rd) Defensive S&P+ (Mizzou: 36th) FEI (Mizzou: 36th) Some of the interesting raw rankings to date: * After the dreadful showing against Georgia, Mizzou ranks 83rd in Rushing S&P+. * Mizzou's offense is heavily dependent on big plays: the Tigers rank 96th in success rate (efficiency) and 58th in PPP (explosiveness). These ratings are low mostly because there were almost no non-garbage time plays versus SE Louisiana, so it's counting mostly the Georgia game. * Despite the same skew toward the Georgia game, Mizzou's defense ranks 16th in Standard Downs S&P. That is great news. Less great: 73rd on passing downs. * Those Georgia big plays hurt: the defense is 34th in Success Rate and 68th in PPP.
