Well today I finished my first day of Marching Mizzou band camp, and I have to say it is quite surreal. I've been a Missouri fan since the day I was born, it had been decided for a long while where my twin brother and I would be attending college; Both of my parents are alums, they met in Columbia, my dad was a men's basketball manager under Norm Stewart, my mother a clarinet player in M2. I have been looking forward to being on campus months, years even. I never dreamed that when I finally had my chance to attend the University of Missouri that we would no longer be playing kansas, but I couldn't be more excited for where the Athletic Department, Music Department, and University as a whole are headed.
I've been around these parts for awhile, I think since late 2008, I was in 8th grade then! Just a child. So it isn't unrealistic to say that I've been a part of the RockM community for a very influential period of my life. I would just like to say thank you to all of the amazing people that make this site happen, to the incredible community that I love. Bill your content is absolutely spectacular and I cannot thank you enough for what you've done with this site.
So as I slowly begin my transition from high school to University of Missouri student, I will do my best to be a True Son, and to be a Mizzou fan like my father and Rockmnation have taught me. I look forward to performing in front of so many of you for the next for years.
