Missouri lands three on AL.com's Preseason All-SEC Squad; Tigers picked to finish 9th

Kevin C. Cox

It seems so far away, but we are just under 90 days to the 2014 College Football season kicking off. The closer we get to the season, the more Preseason lists and ranking begin to trickle out from different media outlets. AL.com was one of the first to roll out their Preseason All-SEC selections Monday morning, with three Missouri Tigers landing a spot on the Second Team:

  • Senior Defensive Lineman Markus Golden
  • Senior Safety Braylon Webb
  • Junior Center Evan Boehm.

Also, the SIDs (Sports Information Directors) of the SEC voted on how they thought the SEC would shake out this season. In the overall poll, the Tigers were picked to finish ninth in the Conference, with votes ranging from third place to thirteenth. In the division poll, Missouri was picked to finish in third place in the SEC East, with votes ranging from second place to fourth. AL.com's annual SEC Report picked South Carolina to take on Alabama in Atlanta for the SEC Championship on December 6th.
