Rock M Nation Bowl Pick 'Em Contest: Fun With Tables
One day...I will figure out HTML tables. In the meantime, Bill C came to my rescue when SBN told me my excel file of 138 lines by 6 columns was too big (but I NEVER see it complain when Bill loads up a 4,500 word leviathan of a post). Bitches, man. Anyway, after the jump we have some lovely tables of three, two and one year results. Breathe in the sweet, sweet smell of OVERWHELMING mediocrity
Fun stuff after the jump!

Rock M Nation Bowl Pick 'Em Contest: All Hail D-Sing, our Champion
It was over when Texas went for and made their two-point conversion :-) At that point, the Over/Under had been tied (which would, per RMN rules, give everyone the win). However, 'Bama went on to leave no doubt, as did D-Sing, who finished with a two-game win over Mrs. Bill C with a contest-record 41 wins. D-Sing, please plan to hear from our treasurer/secretary/Grand Pooba on-high RPT about your winnings.
From an all-time standpoint, MU 1839 still holds the overall winning percentage title for three-year people with .5354 M7Tiger holds the two-year title, checking in at a solid .5455 percentage. The Bill C's are both above .500 for their three-year runs, while Boom and RPT are right at .500 for their three years. All-time, the contest sits at 2326-2538 for a winning percentage of .478. Gonna take a few big years to get back to .500 I fear :-)
To wrap up, thank you to everyone who participated. I was very pleased with the turn-out and it seems folks enjoyed it, which also pleases me. We have another contest in a few months with our bracketology (which thankfully I allowed ESPN.com to run for me :-) Until then, keep guessin' everyone!

Rock M Nation Bowl Pick 'Em Contest: One Game to Go
Though I am guessing most did not watch it (especially with the Mizzou game being on at roughly the same time), but quite the game last night between CMU and Troy. TONS of variables, including a two-point conversion which, at that point, looked like it was going to potentially decide the entire tournament. In the end, Troy's comeback and OT pushed this to the over, which D-Sing nailed (along with the Troy pick as well). So, with just one game remaining, he sits one game in front of Mrs. Bill C. Here is how they stack up tonight
D-Sing: Texas (over)
Mrs. Bill C: Texas (under)
Being that it is still early when I am writing this, I have not yet decided on a tie-breaker for the two. I will likely get in touch with both today and will report on it if it comes to pass that one is needed. As always, if you want to see what you have on tap for tonight feel free to click here and find your original entry. And now, check out the standings after the jump.

Rock M Nation Bowl Pick 'Em Contest: Tied at the Top (Once Again)
Two games to go. Two entrants tied at the top. D-Sing slipped up last night, going 0-2. That meant Mrs. Bill C went 1-1 (as both had the over but she had Iowa) and has tied it back up at 39-26. Once again, here are their remaining picks. Needless to say, this one will come down to the Championship game on Thursday night.
D-Sing: Troy (over), Texas (over)
Mrs. Bill C: Troy (under), Texas (under)
Just because I know he is reading, props to stlcardinalsfang who has put together a marvelous burst here at the end, going 12-2 to move himself towards the top of the charts. As always, if you want to see what you have on tap for the rest of the contest, feel free to click here and find your original entry. And now, check out the standings after the jump.

Rock M Nation Bowl Pick 'Em Contest: A New Leader Emerges
In one of the more impressive runs I have really ever seen in something like this, D-Sing cannot be stopped. With just three games (and six picks) remaining, he has overtaken Mrs. Bill C. by one game after nailing the Boise and under (though I doubt anyone thought the game was going to be THAT under). Looking at the remaining games, there is still time for Mrs. Bill C to come back
D-Sing: Ga Tech (over), Troy (over), Texas (over)
Mrs. Bill C: Iowa (over), Troy (under), Texas (under)
Suppose it is time to work out a potential tie-breaker between the two...
Anyway, props to MizzouMarine for making a run from .500 (at 20-20) to third place at 35-27. Not too sure he can get all the way back, but a solid run to close out to be sure. Also, D-Sing is only one win away from tying the all-time wins record in this contest, which is 39 and held by both of the past winners. He will need to finish with 42 wins to break the all-time winning percentage record, held by MU 1839 at .6094 for his Season 1 win.

Rock M Nation Bowl Pick 'Em Update: Tied at the Top
With only four games (and eight picks) remaining, yesterday brought some new faces into the mix, as only a few people (but including yours truly) managed to go under .500 on the day. With folks firing off 7-3's and 8-2, we had some more movement at the top, including D-Sing, who is currently on a 16-4 streak, fly up to tie Mrs. Bill C. egp (of a 13-7 streak) joined Wooderson just a couple of wins back in 2nd place. No games again until tomorrow night, where our top 4 do differ on their picks, so expect some additional movement. As always, if you want to see what you have on tap for tomorrow, feel free to click here and find your original entry.
Standings after the jump, but a solid day for the contest as a whole, as the winning percentage moved almost .02, which is tough to do this late in the game.

Rock M Nation Bowl Pick 'Em Contest: A Leader Emerges
With another sterling day, Mrs. Bill C has really stepped away from the pack, and now holds a three-game lead on the rest of the field. Countrycal is starting to fall off the pace, but is still within shouting distance, and a great move has been made by both Wooderson and D-Sing, who went 9-1 on the day. Also, props go out to ewmvv6 for the 8-2 effort, but Mrs. Bill C matched it with a 7-3 to extend her lead.
Five more games tomorrow, but there are only four left AFTER tomorrow, so the time to make a run is slowly going away. Also having gone away is our shot at .500, as the past few days have pretty much locked us in at around 46 percent...pretty woeful. If you want to see what you have on tap for tomorrow, feel free to click here and find your original entry.
