Top 10 Moments: No. 10 - The Punt Return

Before we dive headfirst into basketball season, I've compiled a list of the Top 10 moments from a Mizzou football season chocked full of them. Each day, I'll unveil another moment until we culminate with the single most memorable moment from the 2007 season.

10. The Punt Return

-- Mizzou needed less than one game to announce one fact to the national landscape: Jeremy Maclin is electrifying. Maclin's speed and agility added yet another dimension to the Missouri offense, but also helped turn Maclin into one of the country's premier return threats. Maclin's presence was announced in the season opener against Illinois with a 66-yard cross-field, untouched punt return for touchdown for what would eventually be the game's deciding points. Three games later, Maclin would repeat the feat at home, busting up a seam against Illinois State with such speed that he could have run through the north endzone and across Providence without being touched.
