Well...day 2 of the Championships out in Boulder...and how lucky are you, the reader, that I have to work today and am strapped to a computer. Can Nick Adcock keep up his amazing pace in the decathlon? How will the MU throwers fare on day 2 after an OK day 1?
Well...Adcock is back at it. Another event, another personal best, as he just blazed the 110 hurdles in 14.36 to get the win, besting his previous best of 14.44. Adcock extended his hold on first place to 72 points
Lars Rise did not run a great time, and is currently in 6th, but less than 60 points out of 4th place. With a couple of throwing events coming up, Rise certainly remains in the hunt for a great finish.
Next up will be the discus, where Adcock's personal best is a 32.56 (Rise won in kansas earlier in the year with a 44.30 to give you an idea of how much ground he may make up here)
