Missouri safety William Moore hopes to take the late Aaron O’Neal’s uniform No. 25 to the NFL. The memory of O’Neal, who died in 2005, was honored last season when one of his classmates wore No. 25 in each game last season, including Senior Day against Kansas State when Moore wore it. Though the NFL has liberalized its rules on which numbers players can wear at certain positions, Moore is the Tigers’ only draft eligible player who definitely can wear No. 25 at his position. Tight end Chase Coffman might be able to. "It’s very important to me to do this," Moore said at the NFL scouting combine. "It was a huge motivation for me and senior class that came in with Aaron to do some of the things we did at Missouri … the back-to-back good seasons … that was for Aaron. "I’m going to try and take it further."
