As The Beef was suggesting yesterday, Sean Miller going from Xavier to Arizona may have changed Jarrid Famous' plans a bit. PowerMizzou's member boards had a discussion about it last night, and without giving away any pay information, it does appear that that has has altered his perceptions, though how much depends on where this guy ends up--he's connected to Famous and the reason he was looking at XU in the first place.

Kevin Rutland: Rutland had an interception in the scrimmage. It seems he has one just about every scrimmage. Some have viewed Rutland as a starter by default, but from our viewpoint, he's validating the status with his play this spring. Long considered one of the best athletes on the team, it seems his play is finally catching up to his measureables. The competition is far from over at corner, but Rutland has made a good impression.
From current players to former ones: Chase Daniel is working out for the hometown Cowboys next Monday. At the very least, that might score him a date with Carrie Underwood or something, right?
