Mizzou Links, 1-15-10

Weird day for links...not a whole lot is going on right now, and the best links are the ones that are completely unrelated to Mizzou and the Big 12...have fun!

Mizzou Basketball Links

  • Post-Dispatch: Playing away, Missouri finds a way
Outscored 22-11 in the last 4 minutes of the second half, with one of its senior guards already fouled out and the other eventually to join him, Missouri appeared to have little going its way as overtime tipped off Wednesday night at Texas Tech.

But instead of sagging, the young Tigers soared.

"That's how it is on the road," said another sophomore who produced 20 points, reserve guard Marcus Denmon. "It seemed like every loose ball or bad bounce was going their way. But good teams find a way to win at the end."
  • The Missourian: Costly turnover a rare mistake for impressive freshman
  • KC Star: Missouri will take game it had to win twice
  • PowerMizzou: 2010 Tiger mailbag

Big 12 Links

It was a really good day for random crap yesterday...

  • EDSBS: PIRATES NEED PIRATES (Seriously, this will the only chance for Mike Leach to coach a college team named the Pirates ... This. Must. Happen.)
  • State College, PA: Broken Promises, Useless Contracts: The Current State of Coaching (by Jay Paterno)
  • Awful Announcing: Elisabeth and Tim Hasselbeck Will Switch Jobs For Day
  • Wezen-Ball: Calculating Charlie Brown's Wins, Losses, & Other Stats

Oh yeah, and...
