Kimmeh
The Missourian: Kim English not as handy as usual for Missouri
Post-Dispatch: English takes valuable lesson from lossEnglish has felt revitalized by MU's three wins since, including its most recent, a 70-55 victory over Presbyterian on Saturday. He scored 14 points, his second-highest output of the season, and seemed to be more in the flow after distinct ebbs over the last few weeks that included playing just eight minutes against La Salle.
As it happens, part of that unevenness has been injuries to both hands, including what English said was a torn ligament he suffered in his right thumb Nov. 27 and three jammed fingers he suffered during the Georgetown game.
...While assistant coach Matt Zimmerman joked that English might benefit from wearing mittens or catcher's mitts on both hands, he said the injuries are in that gray area of 'stuff that (isn't) going to keep him out of a game, but it's stuff that keeps him from being healthy. So I think that's affected him a little bit."
