I'm not SleepyFloyd7, but this picture's too good -- impromptu Caption Contest in the comments!
There is no Mizzou football game to review on this final Sunday of what roughly constitutes college football's regular season, but just to avoid the backlog of 100 links that Mondays usually provide, let's dump some of them...
(And by the way, 1,150 comments on a Saturday with no Mizzou football or basketball game? Well done, guys and gals.)
We start with a link that might be outdated in a few hours: the San Diego Union-Tribune says the Holiday Bowl is looking at Washington-Mizzou. Meanwhile, Stewart Mandel thinks Mizzou-Arizona, and Dave Matter splits the difference. After hints of Boise State or Notre Dame sneaking into the Holiday Bowl, it will feel a bit disappointing to end up with Arizona or Washington, but oh well. Travel well, take care of business, move on to 2011 with higher hopes.

Just an awesome, awesome weekend for the Tigers, who were led offensively yesterday by two freshmen -- setter Molly Kreklow and outside hitter Lisa Henning. Mizzou will have some nice pieces to replace next year -- outside hitters Paola Ampudia and Julianna Klein, stud libero Caitlyn Vann and middle blocker Catie Wilson (and banged-up hitter Wendy Wang) -- but with Kreklow and Henning, not to mention surging middle blocker Brittany Brimmage and defender Pip Armendariz, there are some nice pieces in place. Mizzou will have to play quite a few newcomers next season, but the future is bright.
