The Trib (Steve Walentik): Anderson discusses matchup with Longhorns
On what impresses him about Texas, which had dropped five of seven games before beating Nebraska by 40 points on Saturday ...
They're an explosive team, and I think it showed in that particular game. If you look at the games they played earlier in the year in nonconference — Michigan State —they were very explosive, and sometimes you can just find that rhythm at the right time. It’s a tremendous challenge for us because No. 1, they’re a tremendously athletic team with size. Pittman, he had a field day on us last year when we played against him. I’m sure obviously he’s looking forward to that matchup. Damion James, he’s an all-conference player, Bradley, when he plays well, it seems like they play well. With that being said, they’re a deeper basketball team than last year. It’s a big game for us. It’s a big for them, and it’s going to be an awesome challenge for our basketball team. Obviously, there’s a size advantage for Texas, but at the same time, we get a chance to hopefully play in a great, great atmosphere at Mizzou Arena.
