MUtigers.com: Tigers Hold Mini-Scrimmage Thursday
The offense scored a pair of touchdowns, with the first coming on a 10-yard run around left end from senior TB Derrick Washington, and that was followed by a 24-yard touchdown pass from junior QB Blaine Gabbert to sophomore WR Rolandis Woodland, who made a nice adjustment on a nicely-thrown fade pass in the right corner of the endzone to make the grab in front of the defender.

The Trib (Dave Matter): Tigers wrap up Thursday scrimmage
Freshman QB James Franklin continues to work almost exclusively with the No. 2 offense during pre-scrimmage drills. I'm curious to see how the reps are split between the backups in Saturday's scrimmage and in next week's Black and Gold game. The mid-year enrollee is getting every opportunity to make an impression and earn the backup job this fall, which could mean some playing time backing up Blaine Gabbert.

PowerMizzou: Thursday practice report
After missing practice on Tuesday with what was called a "personal problem" by Gary Pinkel, safety Jarrell Harrison spent most of the day working with the third team. Redshirt freshman Matt White was running No. 1 opposite Jasper Simmons. Tavon Bolden and Kenronte Walker were mostly with the second unit. There seem to be six safeties (including Jackson) who are legit threats for playing time. Will be very interesting to follow. White is the most intriguing to me. When he got to campus in August, he was just 17. He told me he is serving as the "big brother" to James Franklin, but he's actually younger than Franklin.

KC Star: New Missouri women's coach likes the fast lane
No sooner had Robin Pingeton been introduced as Missouri’s new women’s basketball coach, it was clear her approach to the game isn’t much different from that of Missouri men’s coach, Mike Anderson.
(Ahem, the stats somewhat disagree, but that's cool.)"Very up-tempo," she said.
"We prefer man-to-man defense//
"We like to shoot the ball before you turn it over." And at that, a room full of well-wishers for Pingeton, a 41-year-old former coach at Illinois State, broke into both applause and laughter.
