First things first: The Mumme Poll is back!  Click here to find out what the hell the Mumme Poll is if you didn't already know (it's more of an approval rating system than a straight-up "poll" poll), and click here to register/participate.  They need more Big 12 participation this year ... and you're a Big 12 fan!  (Or at least, a fan of a Big 12 team.  Nobody is a fan of the Big 12.)

  • The Trib: Missouri undefeated but not perfect

Minus Washington, the four backs in Missouri’s rotation have averaged 7.1 yards per carry collectively. Undersized freshman revelations Henry Josey and Marcus Murphy have provided flashes of big-play ability in the backfield, adding fresh legs to the more seasoned tandem of junior De’Vion Moore and sophomore Kendial Lawrence.

With a steady of rotation of eight players, Missouri’s offensive line has lived up to preseason expectations, blocking for a running game that’s averaged 5.0 yards per carry — better than Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M.

Pass-blocking has been strong, too: Among Big 12 teams, only Oklahoma has attempted more passes than Missouri’s 161, but no league team has given up fewer sacks than MU’s four.
