Once again, we'll break these out into two links pieces, one based on Big 12 Media Days (later) and this one, based on everything else. Lots of good Mizzou-specific links as practice gets closer...

The Trib (Dave Matter): T.J. Moe: Expect more on the outside"They [Wes Kemp and Jerrell Jackson] both have an opportunity to put up huge numbers because of the way James plays," Moe said of MU's sophomore quarterback. "We may sling it outside a little bit more. There are times when they’re open 30 times in a game and still only get three catches. Well, that’s because the other" passes "went to me and Egnew because we were open. We just happened to be the first read. It kind of depends. Jerrell is an exceptional player. No matter what his numbers say, he’s smart and knows what he’s doing. He helps everybody on the field. When Jerrell’s out there, our offense is better. No doubt about it."
OK, so what about Franklin will make him a more equal-opportunity distributor than last year's starter, top-10 NFL draft pick Blaine Gabbert?
"Here’s the thing about Blaine: Blaine knew that if there was a window this big," Moe said, making a hole with his hands about the size of a grapefruit, "he knew he could still get the ball in there. Well, that’s Blaine. There aren’t many Blaines. James will just assume go outside because, hey, Wes is wide open on a drop-out. Toss it out there. It’s an easy 15 yards. Meanwhile, I’m getting drilled at 10 yards because Blaine could fit it in that little pocket."
