For stretches, this looked like the typical Mizzou-A&M game. Mizzou was missing jumpers they typically make, A&M was playing hard and strong, and with 7:30 left in the first half, the Aggies led, 17-14.
And then, led by Mike Dixon, Mizzou went on a 28-2 run.
The Mizzou offense would dry up again after that -- the Tigers scored just one point over a 7:15 span -- but behind Ricardo Ratliffe and more strong rebounding from Marcus Denmon, Mizzou once again pulled away. They went on an 11-2 run over five minutes to put the game away.
Mizzou is now 17-1, 4-1 in conference. They will be tied for second place in the conference behind the loser of tonight's Baylor-Kansas game, and they will head to Waco to take on the third-ranked Bears Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
You know the drill by now: Study Hall tomorrow, celebration today. WHAT SAY YOU, DR. SOYOYE???
