Rock M Nation BlogPoll, Week 6: Top 10 Madness

Alabama and Oregon avoid the chaos, but the rest of top ten the Rock M Nation BlogPoll ballot gets a makeover.

No pithy pronouncements from me this week. No jokes wondering when we're going to start SEC play. Sometimes you just have one of those years. Given where our program has been before (see 1980s-early 2000s), if we have a bad year once every eight seasons, I think that is an improvement over the past, no?

But enough about us. Let's look at the teams who are potentially playing for larger stakes. No change in the top two, as Alabama had a bye last week (oh, goody!) and Oregon jumped on Washington early and often before taking their bye this week.

Statement wins by South Carolina, West Virginia and Florida shuffle some of the top teams around. I probably have Oregon State up too high, especially given that their top quarterback is out indefinitely with a knee injury. However, this isn't about the future, and their play this week will determine where they are next week.
