Mizzou gets a coach fired (probably), former Tiger receivers erupt, Mizzou is better than SIU-Edwardsville at basketball, Soccer endures a heart-breaking finish, and Mizzou Wrestling allows ... -1 points?

Goodness, what a busy Mizzou weekend...

Not the most inspiring of efforts from Frank Haith's squad, but we'll get to that in Study Hall later today. Really, really liking Negus Webster-Chan.

Tough finish for Mizzou Soccer, losing six of the final eight games of the season. Still, it was nice to return to the tourney after a four-year absence ... even if the result was the same as the last time Mizzou was in the tournament (a shootout loss to Illinois)

Mizzou Volleyball Links

A week ago, Mizzou stood at 52nd in the volleyball RPI rankings. Getting swept by a good opponent isn't going to help the tourney cause, but the Tigers have still now won three of four after falling into a funk with a couple of personnel issues. Last four games of the regular season: at Texas A&M (Mizzou lost to the Aggies, 3-1, in Columbia earlier this year), at Mississippi State (Mizzou swept in Columbia), Kentucky (first meeting -- Kentucky is 11-6 in conference), Alabama (Mizzou won, 3-1, in Tuscaloosa). They might get into the tournament winning three of those four ... but they do probably need to win three of four, I figure.
