Texas A&M 59, Mizzou 29 | Mizzou 68, VCU 65

I'm still playing catch-up after helping to take care of a sick, teethy Rally Baby, but Missouri both won and lost on Saturday night. Mizzou football fell, 59-29, to a smoking hot Texas A&M team and almost surefire Heisman winner Johnny Manziel. The trio of L'Damian Washington, Dorial Green-Beckham and Marcus Lucas combined for 12 catches, 198 yards and two touchdowns on passes from Corbin Berkstresser, but most of it came after A&M had built an enormous lead. Meanwhile, Mizzou Hoops claimed third place in the Battle 4 Atlantis, holding off VCU, 68-65. The Tigers couldn't ever pull away from Shaka Smart's Rams, but five players scored in double digit, Laurence Bowers recorded a double-double, and Mizzou once again dominated on the glass.

Mizzou Football's 2012 season is over, and Mizzou Hoops still has some issues, drama, and new pieces to deal with. We'll start discussing all of this in great detail tomorrow. But for now, here's a new thread for you night owls.
