Looks like Marcus Loud has flipped from #Colorado to #Missouri.
— Adam Gorney (@adamgorney) December 8, 2012
Per the folks at Rivals.com, it appears that Texas defensive end Marcus Loud has re-committed to Missouri. Loud, you'll remember, committed to Missouri a while back, decommitted after visiting St. Louis (not Columbia) and not enjoying himself, and eventually committed to Colorado. His stock rose in the meantime -- Rivals.com now rates him a high three-star -- but after Colorado's Jon Embree was fired, he decided to reopen his recruitment. His official visit to Mizzou is this weekend, and he has apparently already recommitted. (You can read more at Ralphie Report.)
And though I will try not to give away too much of Pete Scantlebury's reporting (on the premium side of PowerMizzou), Loud currently plans to still take other visits. That might change by the end of the weekend, but this is as good a reminder as any that what we call "commitments" are really reservations. So as it currently stands, Loud has reserved a spot in Mizzou's 2013 recruiting class.
And in case he fulfills that reservation, here's a taste of what Missouri will be getting.
