Well it appears Blaine Gabbert may have dodged a bullet in Jacksonville, as after days of denying interest, the Jags did apparently attempt (and fail) to pursue Tim Tebow.

So apparently UConn rebounding machine Alex Oriakhi is transferring for his senior season because of the Huskies' 2013 NCAA Tournament ban. And apparently he is friends with Phil Pressey (or, at least, "Phil Presley") from his AAU days. And apparently Frank Haith has recently made claims that Missouri will fill both of its remaining scholarships to give in 2013, via either high school recruit "or another transfer." So ... yeah. Just thought I'd throw all of that out there. Get to work on the recruiting, Flip!

Honestly, I almost feel bad for Rick Barnes at this point. Even when they clearly aren't ready, he still loses every five-star guard he reels in after a single season -- Avery Bradley in 2010, Cory Joseph in 2011, and apparently Myck Kabongo in 2012.

So as The Beef pointed out to me yesterday, Team Stubble has outscored opponents 122-3 in the month of March. It appears they may be rounding into shape nicely, huh? Also: read trripleplay's tip-of-the-cap-to-OSU piece below. You won't regret it.
