Alright, the table has been set. If Mizzou beats Illinois State today -- and they get two attempts to do so -- they will be regional champions for the fifth consecutive year. They would advance to face either Texas A&M (in College Station) or LSU (in Columbia) in the Super Regionals next weekend.
What: NCAA Softball Regionals
Who: Missouri (45-12) vs. Illinois State (37-22)
When: 2:00 p.m. CT (and, if necessary, 4:00 p.m. CT)
Where: University Field
It's going to be fascinating day throughout the bracket, actually. No. 1 California (vs. Arkansas), No. 5 Florida (vs. South Florida), No. 6 Texas (vs. Northwestern), No. 7 Tennessee (vs. Virginia Tech), No. 8 Texas A&M (vs. LSU), and No. 15 Louisville (vs. Michigan) each must win twice today to advance to the Super Regionals. Three of those teams, obviously, are on Missouri's side of the bracket. Keep up with the scoreboard here.
And, of course, keep up with the Stubble Drive here.
