Missouri 48, Kentucky 17: DGB throws a touchdown party

Dorial Green-Beckham caught seven passes for 100 yards and four touchdowns, Henry Josey scored three touchdowns of his own (including a fourth-quarter 86-yarder that was tied for Missouri's longest touchdown run since Harry Ice in 1940), and Missouri cruised to a 48-17 win over Kentucky in Lexington on Saturday.

DGB's touchdown were of increasing degree of difficulty as the game went on; he scored three times on fade routes, and his third was pretty ridiculous.

His fourth touchdown came on a post route when the defender assumed a fade was coming. He had 'em on a string.

DGB wasn't the entire story, though. Josey was fantastic, Maty Mauk completed 17 of 28 passes for 203 yards and five scores, John Gibson ripped off a long kickoff return after subbing in for Marcus Murphy, Bud Sasser and Jimmie Hunt combined for four catches and 59 yards, and the Mizzou pass rush was as good as ever. Kentucky made up ground in the second half by running against a defense guarding for the pass, but this one was never in doubt.

Mizzou heads into a bye week with a 9-1 record, still a game up (in the loss column) in the SEC East. This has been a spectacular season; now we get a week to rest before we find out just how spectacular.
