Mizzou Still Lost To LSU, Apparently :-(
The Trib (Steve Walentik): Second thoughts[T]here were times in the second half Wednesday night when [Phil] Pressey seemed unstoppable on the offensive end, but he couldn’t stop his LSU counterpart, Hickey, who scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half, added four assists and two steals and became the latest point guard to frustrate Missouri on the road this season.
Pressey certainly outplayed Larry Drew II while scoring 19 points and dishing out a career-high 19 assists in a Dec. 28 loss at UCLA. But while Pressey shot 8 for 22 and had five turnovers in that game, Drew showed greater efficiency, particularly down the stretch, and finished with eight points and 10 assists with only three turnovers.
Mississippi’s Jarvis Summers burned Missouri with 12 points in a Jan. 12 loss in Oxford, Miss. He was averaging 7.7 points entering the game.
Florida’s Scottie Wilbekin had 13 points, 10 assists and three steals while helping pressure Pressey into a career-high 10 turnovers on Jan. 19.
"That position has really killed us on the road, the point guard position," Haith said. "You go back and look at it, we haven’t been able to defend that position. We’ve got to get better at it. You go back and look at Ole Miss, Florida, Larry Drew had a great game" for UCLA … That position has really hurt us."

The 2013 Alabama-Notre Dame BCS Championship Game was not a dramatic one, so SB Nation took it upon itself to heighten the emotion and tension the only way that made sense, repurposing the footage as Apollo 13 film, because even mission control roots against Notre Dame. It's science.
