2013 Depth Chart | Augusta could immediately find playing time if he has a good August. |

"It was just a good atmosphere," Augusta said. "There were a lot of players I connected with. They were real cool, and I like how when you first come in they set you up with a 'big brother' who guides you through your freshman year."
Assistant coach Cornell Ford was Augusta's primary recruiter from Missouri. Head coach Gary Pinkel made his in-home visit last weekend and impressed the Augusta family.
"My mom loves him a lot," Augusta said.
He displays a good initial burst off the ball. He displays good flexibility and can fire off the ball low and play with good pad level. He is able to gain leverage, hold his ground and, at times, knock blockers back, get up-field and be disruptive. He displays good raw strength to be able to shed, but must do a better job of shooting his hands and creating separation when he engages blockers. He moves well, has nice range and the ability to redirect. […] Augusta is an athletic big man with potential as both an offensive and defensive lineman. He needs to keep developing as a player, but he has raw tools and his best days on the football field are ahead of him.
