Mizzou's Greatest, #69: "Did you see him? Did you see him take that man and throw him down?"

Yes, James Wilder has already claimed a spot on this list. But one specific touchdown gets a spot of its own.

As much as I love Mike Kelly, and as much as I loved John Kadlec in the booth, this might be the single greatest call in Missouri's history. It might also be the greatest touchdown.

"Alright now, Jim Wilder, listen to me. I'm going to buy you the biggest steak dinner you could eat."

"Lewis comes out to the left side. [pause] I think he's a vegetarian, isn't he?"

[Laughs all around]

"Wilder!"

"WILDER!"

"JIM WILDER"

"OHHHHHH. OHHHHH."

"TOUCHDOWN."

"[unintelligible]"

"DID YOU SEE THAT? DID YOU SEE HIM? DID YOU SEE HIM TAKE THAT MAN AND THROW HIM DOWN?"

"You will not believe what Wilder did."

If Wilder didn't have the "Sikeston Train" nickname before this play, he had it afterward.
