Mizzou Links, 9-27-13: Another commit, bad weather (again), and OL depth

Bill Carter

1. Hello, Ish

So Mizzou scored another commitment last night.

That would be Ish Witter, three-star running back from Tampa. Witter's a pretty small guy (5'8, 190), which is a shame because I'm not sure Missouri knows how to properly utilize small running bac--hahaha, sorry, just kidding, he'll fit in just fine here.

As passed along by The Trib's David Morrison last night, his Hudl page has some highlights. He's a barrel-chested guy who runs more like a 6'0, 200-pound back than some little jitterbug. That could work pretty well as long as he's either fast enough or strong enough to pull it off. Can't be a 'tweener. (Also via Morrison: a Tampa Bay Times profile.)

We'll have more on Ish later in the day.
