2015 Missouri football recruiting: Kansas OL A.J. Harris commits to Missouri

A.J. Harris, a four-star offensive guard from Stilwell (Ks.) Blue Valley high school, just announced his commitment to the University of Missouri.

A 6'3, 297-pounder, Harris is regarded as a four-star recruit by Rivals.com and the No. 14 guard in the class of 2015. The 247Sports Composite rankings list him as a four-star prospect and the No. 318 overall player in the class, and ESPN classifies him as a three-star recruit.

Harris hails from the same hometown as Mizzou redshirt freshman Clay Rhodes. According to Rivals, Harris listed offers from Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, and Oklahoma State. This is a pretty big get this early in the recruiting season, especially with the other recruits potentially on deck for a commitment next week.

All I can say from watching his highlight video above is ... this dude's mean. He completes his blocks. My favorite highlight comes at the 1:21 mark: knock a guy down, then help him up so you can knock him down on the next play.

Harris is the third known commitment for the class of 2015, joining running backs Chase Abbington and Ryan Williams. Welcome, AJ.

And a welcome to Gary Pinkel, as well. He joins the "coaches tweeting something cryptic/vague when he gets a commit" universe. Only ... his cryptic tweets really aren't that cryptic.

Andy Hill's are more run-of-the-mill.
