Mizzou Links, 6-2-14: Permanent rivals, transfers, and SEC Network money

Mizzou will have two more permanent basketball rivals (for better or worse), the basketball program won't be taking many transfers, and the SEC Network might be worth an extra $16 million (or more) per year per school.

...who enjoyed the current SEC basketball scheduling. I like that Mizzou plays everybody at least four times in three years; to me, that's the best way to become familiar with the league as a whole, even if the Tigers don't play home-and-away against Tennessee or Kentucky every year. Having three permanent rivals is fine ... but what if one of those is, like, Auburn or something? We want Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky/Florida, I assume, but what if we get Arkansas, Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State? And then we play Tennessee or Kentucky even less? That probably won't be the case, but you get the idea...
