Last summer, we ran out of time. In counting down the 100 greatest people, teams, seasons, games, and moments in Mizzou's athletic history, we only got to No. 14 before the football season took over. The intention was to continue with the series this summer, and that will happen. Only ... a funny thing happened in 2013-14: we got some more moments to add to the list.
Below you'll find links to each of the No. 14-100 posts in the series. Below that, you'll find a form. I'm taking nominations/suggestions regarding where to place some of the great things from 2013-14. That includes Mizzou's 2013 football season, the Michael Sam and Henry Josey stories, Mizzou's 2013 defensive ends, the 2014 Cotton Bowl, Mizzou's 2013 volleyball season, and the Molly Kreklow-Lisa Henning duo. If you feel any of these are deserving of a spot in the Greatest 100, put the approximate ranking you would give them in the appropriate text box. If you wouldn't put them in the top 100, leave the box blank.
If you want to nominate some other person, team, season, game, moment, etc., feel free to do it in the text box at the bottom of the survey. Pretty impressed with Mizzou's golf season? Think Michael Sam should get on the list because of his on-field exploits? Really, really enamored with Jabari Brown (or at least his Kentucky game)? Think Bill Carter's picture of Henry Josey is deserving of a spot in and of itself? Let's hear it.
One note: J'Den Cox was intentionally left off of this list, simply because we don't know where to put him yet. If he goes on to have a strong career but never wins another national title, he ends up in one spot. If he wins four national titles and/or never loses again, he ends up in a very different spot. The same goes for Gary Pinkel, actually. He'll end up on this list, but it's hard to say where just yet. (Needless to say, Pinkel would get a much different spot today than he would have a year ago.)
Once the votes are in, we'll adjust the list, then resume the posts.
