Today

  • Florida plays at Alabama a half hour before Mizzou kicks off but some folks think the game might be over by then.
  • Tonight's prime time night game, Mississippi State vs LSU features Dak Prescott vs a bunch of LSU defenders who will all go pro next year. A lot of people think LSU is on upset watch but personally I think it's just hype.
  • Just an observation, but today's matchup between Oklahoma and West Virginia will see two teams who use an attacking 3-3-5. I mean, if that's your thing.
  • Meanwhile South Carolina plays another cupcake before conference play... hold up, correction: Vanderbilt is still technically SEC.

Finally, if you're bored this morning. Here's the entire UCF at Mizzou game in just under 40 minutes

I got around to watching that sideline debate between Maty Mauk and Darius White so many people were concerned about. I think Mauk demonstrated some valuable leadership by talking to White and appearing to reassure him that he'd get his. I think White will have a big day vs Indiana.
