Well, let's get right to it.
With four picks remaining, Ask the Nickel (brought to us by blackfin) sits atop the contest standings with an impressive 50-22 record. The record is so impressive because this is the first entry to reach the 50-win mark (yes, there are more games this year than in years' past). To break the record for best record (as held by HNTR with last year's effort of 70%), the entry will need to sweep the final four picks.
Only one person is still in a position to catch the Nickel, and that is Matthew Vogt. Though he sits three picks back, he actually differs on three of the remaining four picks. So, he is in a position to tie. The Nickel took Florida and the Under today, while Matthew took ECU and the Under. If ECU covers, it will come down to tomorrow.
At the other end, we've still got a tight battle for the bottom spot. Three folks are tied for the worst at 26-46 (Jack618, blackgoldorange and fave/under) with a group only two off of that. Let's see how today goes before we start looking at the possible loser.
For the rest of us, another pretty ugly day leads the Community dangerously close to .500 for the year (now at 50.35%), and has brought the all-time down to 51.11%.
What will today bring with the one, early game?
- Florida (-7): 54%
- Under 57.5: 77.9%
