The @MizzouFootball Family is ready to get on the road to Georgia. #Mizzou Fans - We'll see you in Athens! #MIZ!! GP pic.twitter.com/WeifRhTHvm

- Last time the Football Tigers made a trip to Athens, things went okay.
- Bulldog fans have been some of the most gracious that I've encountered since Mizzou made the jump to the SEC.
- When they made their first trip to Columbia, I met a nice man at Harpo's who was handing out these coozies to any Tiger he could find.
1. Sanford Stadium's field is famously lined with privet hedges. If you could add a natural component to Faurot, what would it be and where would it reside?
The Beef - I am pretty sure we used to have bushes above the M in the endzone. I only remember this because I think I had to climb over and through them with a piece of goalpost from when we tore them down against kU in 1996. I think I even still have a scar from the occasion. Good times.
Chris L Turner - A jungle in the North End Zone where Truman can live free for the rest of his natural life.
Jack Peglow - Mizzou is doing a lot of expanding to its premium seating, but what about those poor, drunk students sweltering away in the student section? Where's the love for them? This problem has a simple solution: TURN THE STUDEN SECTION INTO A SWIMMING POOL. Tigers love to swim. We can call it Truman's Pond.
switzy227 - I can't think of anything that would actually be good. So I'll say "something something Monsanto".
dcrockett17 - Why couldn't we be the first SEC school with an awesome koi pond? How is no one doing this already? We could easily scale up these handy dandy wikihow directions.
HHKB Chris - Two words for you, Fire Moat. But knowing that said fire could spread I'll say Fire Moat.
jaeger - A big rock wall in front of the away team's endzone. YES I KNOW HOW FOOTBALL RULES WORK.
AlaTiger - The Rock M is the coolest. Rocks are from nature. So what if we whitewash them? Georgia trims their hedges.
2. It's playoff baseball season (for half of Missouri at least), so let's talk walk-up music. Assign the offense and the defense each a tune to take the field to.
Beef - Defense – Return of the Mack. Offense – One is the loneliest number.
Turner - Offense: Help! - The Beatles. Defense: Somebody's Gonna Get It - Three 6 Mafia
Peglow - Defense: Flex – Rich Homie Quan. Offense: Sound of Silence – Simon & Garfunkel
switzy227 - Offense: "Stay" by Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons; Defense: "Enter Sandman" by Metallica.
dcrockett17 - Defense -- that's an easy one. That old Toddy Tee jam, "Batterram" (You can't stop it baby!). Offense -- Danny Brown's "Grown up" But they'd HAVE to get this kid with the missing front teeth or it won't work.
HHKB - The offense would get Still Not a Player by Big Pun, the Defense could have Pony by Ginuwine and Maty Mauk could have some hybrid of teenage dirtbag and cocaine.
jaeger - Offense: Getting Better - The Beatles (optimism/denial!). Defense: Indestructible - Disturbed.
AlaTiger - Defense: Back in Black - AC/DC. Offense: Slip Slidin' Away - Paul Simon
3. Locktober is at the halfway point. What grade (A-F) would you give the young signal-caller thus far?
Beef - I’d give him a solid B-. Certainly some other issues beyond his control, but he has some growth to go as well.
Turner - He gets a C-. C's get degrees here at the University of Missouri, so he passes...for now.
Peglow - He's sitting at a solid B right now. 85%. When he hasn't been running for his life (so basically the South Carolina game) he's looked poised. His placement needs to get a bit better, but that comes with his ability to find a rhythm. Heisman still a definite possibility.
switzy227 - Solid C. But with so much potential.
dcrockett17 - Technically an incomplete -- a "C" if you force me into a letter grade. Not only is there a lot of football left. We need to see how he handles getting his butt whooped. This week should tell us a lot. He saw a ghost or two last week, but I was impressed at his willingness to hang in there a little. (Now, I don't think Lock has the initial quickness of Mauk to wheel around and try to escape pressure through the back door, but that never stopped Blaine Gabbert from trying it.) I want to see that willingness to hang in and find his read. Georgia's a good defense, but it doesn't have four pros playing in the secondary like Florida. If Lock trusts his blocking it'll let him down at times but it'll also give him some time to make some plays.
HHKB - I'll give him a C+, the kids not working with a whole lot of health around him but they've all got potential.
jaeger - Adjusted for age and experience, I'd give him a high C, low B. Looked good in places, not so good in others, but it's hard to tell when he's got so many other unknowns around him.
AlaTiger - His midterm grade is a C, but he still has a lot of grading opportunities to pull up his average for the semester.
