Song of the Week with DJ Beatz
DJ Beatz - The song is appropriate in context, It's time to come home and beat Florida! Go tigers!

- Homecoming was invented at the University of Missouri.
- Not anywhere else.
- Anyone who claims anything to the contrary is a big, fat liar.
- Missouri is a home dog on Homecoming.
1. You've been tasked with designing a Homecoming float centered around the Missouri football team. What will you be parading through the streets of Columbia?
The Beef - Michael Scherer throttling FU at a grade of 90%
jaeger - On the front, Drew Lock's hair swoop. On the back, dancing Charles Harris. Maty Mauk will spin behind it and collide with a bystander.
Jack Peglow - A to-scale model of the Georgia Dome. The roof will be removed, allowing the team captains to stand in the middle and wave to their adoring fans. Written across the front of the dome will be, "Columbia 2" and the back will read "Our second home."
Sam Snelling - A giant plate of cookies surrounded by defensive players, nary an offensive player in sight.
Fullback University - This.
dcrockett17 - A black Pinkel-visor (duh!), with some kind of yellow flowering that says "We do what we do."
switzy227 - Giant visor.
HHKB Chris - Man I hate papier-mâché, it's sticky and ugly. But if I must build some float it would be of a tiger doing something unseemly to an alligator, I'll let your imagination run away with you...sinners.
AlaTiger - A float full of dancing Pinkels.
Chris L Turner - The Columbia Cart we won from spurrier last week. We're adding spinners, lights, stereo system, the works. Here's the kicker: we have a sign on the back that says "Go Drew Lock", but once we're inside the parade, we rip it off to reveal "5th down was an inside job". We'll probably be forcibly removed from the parade BUT THE MESSAGE IS SPREAD.
2. Who has the bigger "homecoming" as a major player in the SEC East after this game, Florida or Missouri? What decides the game for your choice?
The Beef - Not entirely sure I understand the question, so I will go with C.
jaeger - If Florida wins, they're "back." If Missouri wins, "the SEC East is down again." I don't know who will win, but since Florida will get non-backhanded coverage, I'll go with them?
Peglow - I think Florida survives a close, ugly game. I don't see them being able to score many points on Missouri's defense, but Mizzou's offense will score even less than that. The win will further cement Florida in BACK territory, giving them the bigger homecoming.
Snelling - Mizzou, because I'm a homer. The game decider will be a late INT with Florida threatening to score, down by just a few points, and a defensive lineman gets his hands on a pass that goes right to a safety.
Fullback - Mizzou is Back™
dcrockett17 - It's probably Florida, save any outcome other than a repeat of last year. Even a close loss for the Gators keeps them firmly ensconced in the top-25. This would obviously be a huge win for Missouri, but probably only delivers the team to the outskirts of the top-25.
What decides the game? The three interior offensive linemen and Drew Lock. When you have a talented QB in that window where there's not a ton of film on him just yet, he can take the starch out of a really aggressive defense. UF will almost assuredly look to attack protection schemes to confuse the kid, and look to jump routes. There will be throws to be made, and I anticipate that Lock will excel in the game of pitch and catch. The lingering questions are about how panicky he is under pressure, and how well the three interior offensive linemen a) communicate and b) hold up in pass pro.
switzy227 - Florida. Pressure on Drew Lock.
HHKB Chris - We invented homecoming so it's Mizzou. And the deciding factor is Michael Scherrrrrrrrr channeling his internet rage towards Fullback U and literally destroying every Florida player he encounters and probably the staff too, maybe even some fans.
AlaTiger - The easy answer is the winner.
Turner - This is probably the most difficult game to predict. I would say this game would be a return for UF to power in the SEC East. Florida just trounced the number three team in the nation with an offense that's mostly been M.I.A. since the turn of the decade. On top of that, you have two freshman quarterbacks going at it, and I think that will be one of the deciding factors on Saturday.

3. Which current player would you crown Homecoming King?
The Beef - Is there anyone who won’t say Drew Lock?
jaeger - Charles Harris, because he's hilarious and already awesome at his position.
Peglow - He may be third in the nation in tackles, but he's number one in my heart. Kentrell Brothers takes the crown, and then tackles it for a four yard loss.
Snelling - Kentrell, because everybody would probably vote for Lock, but he'd get tackled by Brothers on his way up to the stage. THAT CROWN IS KENTRELL'S HE DESERVES IT.
Fullback - My best friend, Michael Scherer.
dcrockett17 - Probably Charles Harris. He really is the "new" guy. And yet, we kind of treat him like old hat because there are so many even newer guys.
switzy227 - Drew Lock's backup.
HHKB Chris - Punter Corey Fatoney because chicks dig the long ball.
AlaTiger - Chris would have had the best answer if he'd properly spelled 'Fatony' but he failed to do so.
Turner - King Kentrell has the best ring to it, so all hail.
Did we separate? Let's find out!
- Fullback U and HHKB Chris (12 correct picks)
- The Beef (11 correct picks)
- AlaTiger, Jack Peglow, and Sam Snelling (10 correct picks)
- BillSelfsToupee and switzy227 (9 correct picks)
How about that!
