The After Action Report: Thanks, GP
Gary Pinkel waved goodbye to a crowd that was only slightly more interested in being there than his offense.

Asking so much of a defense
Missouri created some big pass plays against Tennessee, but it was too little, too late in a 19-8 loss. If Wesley Leftwich had managed to keep his feet, however...

A familiar formula (but read anyway!)
Against Tennessee, 3-and-outs, field position, and awful special teams doomed Missouri again. The Mizzou defense played heroic ball to keep the Tigers within shouting distance in a 19-8 loss.

Another low-scoring loss

Identity is good
Mizzou committed to the run against BYU, and it was just effective enough to help out Drew Lock and the passing game.

Drew Lock "sacks up"
Drew Lock "sacked up" on the zone read play that changed the BYU game. He also found a connection with H-receivers Nate Brown and Cam Hilton. Also: Mizzou's assistants face uncertainty, and Evan Boehm is Senior Bowling.

A mammoth performance
Drew Lock's best performance gave Gary Pinkel at least one more storybook moment and reminded Missouri fans of an optimistic future on offense.
