The outpouring of support and positivity was awesome

Jerrell Harrison had an especially heartfelt post on Instagram:

I was recruited to #Mizzou by Matt Eberflus, but a week or two upon arriving on campus coach Eber left to coach the Cleveland Browns. Coach Pinkel then hires some guy named Barry Odom. A guy I had never met while being recruited and here he is my position coach. In his first meeting he promised to treat us fair and that he would always be honest with us and he did just that. As much of a pain in the ass I was off the field, Coach Odom was always there to teach me a life lesson and on the field he coached me hard and never let me use an excuse. This couldn't have happened to a better man and coach and I'm thankful for the time I spent with coach Odom. From a safeties coach to the head man. Don't sleep on Barry O. #MizzouMade #MizzouFootball
