It's been an open secret for a while that Josh Heupel was Barry Odom's first choice to become offensive coordinator at Missouri; the only suspense has involved when it would become official. It probably won't until after Missouri Curators approve Barry Odom's contract later this week, but word is starting to leak from the Utah side that it is becoming unofficially official, at least. Utah State's Scout site was the first to suggest Heupel's departure was imminent, and now Salt Lake Tribune columnist Steve Luhm is joining in. We'll get into deeper analysis once the i's are dotted and t's are crossed, but I guess the fact that Odom is getting his first choice is probably a good thing.
