Mizzou will boast a wealth of experience on the offensive line in 2015, with five seniors returning with starting experience. But Gary Pinkel and his staff felt the need to supplement the line with a couple of JUCO transfers, both to increase competition at the tackle positions and to make sure that the experience level doesn't drop off a cliff in 2016.
Malik Cuellar signed in December and will join the team for spring practice in March. Mizzou added a second JUCO big man as well, however, and he is really, really big. Really big.
Tyler Howell is big enough to distract you from his skills. But his highlight film shows solid technique and footwork as well, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him winning one of the starting tackle jobs as early as September.
