McDonald's All-American big man Thomas Bryant names Missouri one of his four finalists, the Mizzou Wrestling program wins yet another MAC title, and ace pitchers dominate Missouri Softball's Black & Gold game.

It's funny to think that we were rather justifiably worried about the future of the Mizzou wrestling program following the school's move to the SEC. The SEC doesn't do wrestling, which caused an awkward "move to the MAC for just one sport" arrangement, and ... hello, yet another MAC title. And a No. 2 overall ranking. Yeah, this program's really struggling.

Rivals.com: Bryant down to four

Missouri: "With coach Rob (Fulford) going there, I'll always have a relationship with him. Also, Montaque Gill-Caesar played with me last year. I have a good relationship with him."

Bryant took an official visit to Missouri on Oct. 11.

MUTIGERS.COM: Black Squad Ousts Gold, 16-1, in Annual Intrasquad Scrimmage

The Mizzou Softball team hosted its annual Black & Gold scrimmage game on Saturday, Feb. 7. The Black team claimed a 16-1 victory. More than 500 fans came out to University Field to watch the Tigers in their intrasquad showcase. The Black unit was powered by a three-hit, five-RBI performance from junior 2B/OF Emily Crane (Troy, Mo.) and four innings of one-run pitching from sophomore Tori Finucane (Germantown, Md.)

Along with Finucane, freshman Paige Lowary (Dallas Center-Grimes, Iowa) and sophomore Cheyenne Baxter (Norborne, Mo.) also saw action for head coach Ehren Earleywine's Black team, with four innings of scoreless pitching between them. The three combined to go eight innings, recording nine strikeouts and allowing just two walks.
