Thursday Line Up
How bout dem Shockers!— Jabari Brown (@Bari_BrownIDF) March 22, 2015
Four excellent games today kicking off with a tough Notre Dame team featuring Jerian Grant vs everyone's favorite Wichita State Shockers lead by Fred Van Fleet, Ron Baker and those other guys that you totally remember from last year.
Up next is a Kennedy Meeks-less North Carolina fresh off the upset of another Mizzou rival, Arkansas. Roy Williams' up-tempo team will face a phenomenal challenge vs Frank "The Tank" Kaminsky and Bo Ryan's incredibly efficientWisconsin Badgers. The clash of styles is worth the price of admission and will likely be where I begin my Thursday night viewing.
The third game of the evening may not have the allure of the Bluegrass Showdown with Louisville that Jack Peglow insists is destiny, but there's something to be said for the Clash of the Coal-Miners when the Kentucky Wildcats meet the West Virginia Mountaineers. We'll see if "Press Virginia" can upset Big Blue Nation - Bob Huggins does have the best record vs John Calipari at 8-2. Personally I'm rooting for Kentucky to win it all and John Calipari to head to the NBA like is rumored every year
... but I'm not holding my breath.
The final game of the night sees two teams Mizzou lost to during their non-conference schedule as the Arizona Wildcats take on the Uber-driven Matt Stainbrook Xavier Musketeers. I'll be rooting for Arizona as a friend of mine is a huge fan and I had to watch Mizzou lose on their home court to Xavier despite a breakout performance by freshman Jakeenan Gant.
If you haven't joined the SB Nation Real time Bracket challenge, it's probably too late, but if you're in Rock M Nation's pool, you're probably losing to my wife, who currently leads in the Traditional group (where you can't just change your picks all willy-nilly whenever your team looks like they'll lose).

The Mizzou Tigers (19-13) play the Michigan Wolverines (18-14) at 6 p.m. this evening in Ann Arbor, Michigan looking for their third straight road win.
The Tigresses beat Northern Iowa 69-61 last Thursday then took down former Big 12 foe Kansas State 67-48 on Sunday on the strength of Morgan Eye's WNIT record-tying 9 three pointers! Namon Wright is jealous.
